作家のことば

　私は作品の命は線質にあり、その善し悪しは筆勢の鋭さで決まるものと考えています。体力の減退が現れている中、少しでも気力を取り戻すべく、通常骨格をなしている王鐸の草書をベースに五言絶句を線条の太細変化・弾力と流れ・余白等を意識し、運腕大きく筆勢重視で気力をこめて書き上げた一作です。

I believe that the life of a work lies in the quality of the line, and its success is determined by the sharpness of the brush force. Sensing a decline in my physical strength, and striving to regain some spirit, I used the cursive script of Wang Duo, which usually forms the structure, as the base for this five-character quatrain. I inscribed it with focused energy, paying attention to the changes in thick/thin lines, elasticity and flow, and open space, while using large arm movements and prioritizing brush force.
