作家のことば

　滲みの多い玉版箋を使用しています。そのため、墨を濃くし滲みを止めるように工夫しました。一方で渇筆の美しさにも配慮しながら、全体を明るく見せるよう苦心致しました。
　書は線の芸術と言われていますので、線の強さ、多彩さ等々に特段の注意を払って制作いたしました。

I used *gyokuhansen* paper, which has a lot of bleed/blur. Therefore, I tried to make the ink darker to suppress the bleeding. On the other hand, I struggled to make the overall piece look bright while also paying attention to the beauty of dry strokes (*kappitsu*).
Since calligraphy is said to be the art of the line, I paid special attention to the strength and diversity of the lines during the creation.
