　蘇軾が晩年に近づいて、転任のため淮河の水路を行き、起伏の多かった官途を回顧しながら作った詩を取り上げました。後半の二句にその想いの深さを感じます。草書を中心にまとめていますが、自身で多く取り組んできた奔放な書きぶりを抑え、章草という古い筆致を生かして、落ち着きや重厚感のある紙面づくりをめざしました。

I took up a poem that Su Shi composed as he traveled by the Huai River waterway near the end of his life, reflecting on his often-tumultuous official career. I feel the depth of his thoughts in the last two lines. While the piece is primarily composed in cursive script, I suppressed my usual unrestrained style and utilized the ancient brushwork of *zhangcao* (draft cursive) to aim for a composed and substantial paper surface.
