新古今和歌集より、リズムのよい秋の自然詠を選歌した。ぬけるように透明な秋の空、錦に色づく山々、そして冬にむかう覚悟。それぞれの景を思い描きながら散らし書きに展開した。特に、その散らし書きの構成により生まれる余白が冴えた要白となるよう留意した。

I selected a poem of autumn nature with a good rhythm from the *Shin Kokin Wakashū*. I unfolded the scattered writing (*chirashigaki*), imagining scenes of a piercingly clear autumn sky, mountains colored like brocade, and the resolve toward winter. In particular, I paid attention to making the open space (*yohaku*) created by the *chirashigaki* composition a clear and crucial white.
