　北魏の石像仏が湛える古拙の微笑（アルカイック・スマイル）に魅了され、記した私稿を今回の作品の素材としました。制作の日々は微笑とは程遠く厳しいものでしたが、もしも今回の作品から静と動、古拙の漂いを感じていただければ幸いです。

I was captivated by the primitive smile (*Archaic Smile*) on the stone Buddhist statues of the Northern Wei, and used a private draft I wrote about it as the material for this work. The days of creation were far from smiling and very difficult, but I would be grateful if you could perceive the sense of stillness and motion, and the primitive aura from this work.
