　文字の素材は西周金文。作品に生命感を求めるのは本作に限らないが、漢字ルーツである古代文字に齎される特有の文字の表情と、金文の荘重な表現を求めた。作品表現は無限だが、新しい表現は簡単には見つからない。誰でもできることを誰もやらないところまでやる。それしか、新たな表現に辿りつけないのかもしれない。

The character material is Western Zhou *kinbun* (bronze inscription). Seeking vitality in the work is not limited to this piece, but I pursued the unique character expression bestowed upon ancient characters, which are the roots of *kanji*, and the solemn expression of *kinbun*. Artistic expression is infinite, but new expression is not easily found. I believe the only way to reach new expression is to do what anyone can do, until no one else can do it.
