　本作品は、良寛の和歌から好きな歌を二首選び題材としました。一首目は「苔清水のように清らかで澄みわたる心」を、二首目は「困難な道も強い想いが道標となる」という意味を含んでいます。歌意にも通ずる清らで韻致高く、かつ「氣」が満ちた作品を目指し、全体感としては「味わい」ある作品となるよう腐心しました。

This work is based on two of my favorite *waka* poems by Ryōkan. The first poem implies a "pure and clear heart like mossy spring water," and the second implies that "a strong will is a guidepost even on a difficult path." I strived for a work that embodies the purity and elegance that connect to the poem's meaning, and is also filled with *ki* (energy), aiming for an overall "flavorful" piece.
