　タテ二尺、ヨコ八尺の横長の形式に西行の和歌一首を素材として、大字かな作品を制作した。
　かな大字の作品ではあるが、かな本来の線が持つ豊かな情感を表現することにつとめた。また、かなの書の魅力である白（空間）のあり方に強く意識を置き、大らかな雰囲気とともに清涼感を持ったかな書の表現を目標として制作した。

I used one *waka* poem by Saigyō as the material for a large-character *kana* work in a two-foot vertical by eight-foot horizontal format.
Although it is a large-character *kana* work, I strove to express the rich emotion inherent in the original line of *kana*. I also strongly focused on the presence of the white space (*shiro* / *kūkan*), which is the charm of *kana* calligraphy, aiming for an expression of *kana* writing that has both a generous atmosphere and a sense of refreshing clarity.
