作家のことば

人はときに悩み、決断をする。絵を描くときも全く同じである。私はそれが楽しくて続けている。
今回の決断はというと、線に意味を持たせ、そこに心を託そうとしたのです。
心の揺れが線のゆらぎに、また線の強さが意思の強さになってくれるはずと思いつつ、深く考え決断する人の姿に重ねています。

People ponder and make decisions; the act of painting is precisely the same[cite: 1]. It is the joy of this process that keeps me painting[cite: 1].
My decision this time was to imbue every line with meaning and entrust my spirit to them[cite: 1].
Believing that the trembling of the heart becomes the wavering of a line, and the strength of a line becomes resolve, I overlaid this process onto the figure of a human absorbed in deep thought and decision[cite: 1].
