昨年ずっと憧れていたギリシャのサントリーニ島とミコノス島を訪れることができました。白壁にできる青い影や色彩豊かな窓と扉は想像以上に美しく、今でも夢に見ます。二度目に訪れる時は、一度目に見られなかった扉の向こうの風景やミコノス島のペリカンに出会ってみたいと思います。そんな最近の心境を作品に描きました。

Last year, I finally visited Santorini and Mykonos in Greece, places I had long dreamed of seeing[cite: 1]. The blue shadows cast on white walls and the vibrant windows and doors were beautiful beyond imagination—I still see them in my dreams[cite: 1]. On a second visit, I hope to discover the landscapes hidden behind those doors and meet the pelicans of Mykonos[cite: 1]. I painted my recent reflections into this work[cite: 1].
