作家のことば

人物画、風景画、静物画と幅広いテーマで制作していますが、近年日展においては風景画が多く、人物画等の画面構成や形の美しさに加え、さらに大自然と対峙し、気候、空気を肌で感じながら、特に光を重要なテーマのひとつとしています。
今回も午後の斜光線が見事に美しく、それを作品としました。

While I create across a wide spectrum of genres—figures, landscapes, and still lifes—my submissions to Nitten in recent years have centered on landscapes[cite: 2]. Beyond compositional beauty and form, I confront vast nature, feeling the climate and air upon my skin, treating light as a central motif[cite: 2].
