ECHO―室内の裸婦―

作家のことば

今回の作品は、青・赤・白の大きな縦ストライプの画面世界と、室内と人物の対象世界との組み合わせを試みました。分断され引きちぎられるような葛藤を生む設定ですが、全体での「とある調和と自然さの獲得」に向けて腐心しました。上手くいっているかどうかは別として、自分にとってさらなる絵画への挑戦です。

In this work, I attempted to combine a canvas world of bold blue, red, and white vertical stripes with an objective world of interiors and figures[cite: 2]. Though the setup creates a tearing, conflicted tension, I struggled to achieve a certain overall harmony and naturalness[cite: 2]. Success aside, it represents another bold leap in my ongoing quest as a painter[cite: 2].
