英国駐在の頃、週末に各国の取材旅行を楽しんでいました。プラハでは、日の気配が尽きかける時刻になると、暮れゆく空の紫色の光と雪明かりの青白い光が混ざり合い、雪化粧をした古都の姿に哀愁を漂わせます。この白い夕暮れの静謐の刻を切り取りたいと思いました。

During my assignment in the UK, I enjoyed weekend sketching trips across various countries[cite: 2]. In Prague as dusk settled, purple light from the fading sky blended with the pale blue reflection of snow, casting a poetic melancholy over the snow-covered ancient city[cite: 2]. I wished to capture that tranquil moment of white twilight[cite: 2].
