白い木目の板壁に小屋の中の軍鶏（小国）と農機具を置いて描きました。板目の年輪に昔のイメージを重ねて、剝離した板壁の重厚なマチエールをつくり、使い古した農機具の車輪との組み合わせで、時の流れを表現できればという思いで画面に向かっています。

I painted a Shamo gamecock inside a shed against a white wooden panel wall, alongside farm tools[cite: 2]. Overlaying past imagery onto tree rings, I created a rich, weathered texture (matière) on peeling wood, pairing it with worn agricultural wheels to express the passage of time[cite: 2].
