作家のことば

記憶は血肉となり積層されてエネルギーとなり、作品を作りあげていきます。記憶は実にもろく、時間の流れとともに輪郭を失い溶けていきますが、また新しい記憶を受け入れてくれ、前進させてくれます。
記憶の核心は朱の棒で、時代の記憶を面で表現しました。
素材は木、漆、アルミ板、色粉、錫粉。
